Work & House

Back @ work and several of the projects for my department are moving steadily along. It's good to keep moving and keep the schedule stacked with projects. They are easy to take them on and challenging to keep them rolling thru the project goals.

@ the house got the sheetrock work completed where the hurricane damage was. Put on a coat of paint and stained the island cabinet doors & drawers.

Tyler's got a Dr. appt tomorrow so we will see how the arm is healing. So much for the baseball glove i bought it for him. I was looking forward to him playing baseball. :-) Soccer season started for me Sunday. 3 games a week if i can handel it. Uuugh.

Mardi Gras on slopes

Tyler and i went snowboarding in New Mexico @ Angel Fire. I have spent several Mardi Gras holidays on the slopes and i believe it is the best thing for me. In the past i and close friends have gotten into trouble while partying close to home. In other words i feel safer leaving town for this holiday.

First day. Tyler and i both had been snowboarding before so we hit the slopes. In no time were both pushing snow and having a good time. Then it ended. :-(
Tyler fell and broke his right arm. Oh well trip was over. We skipped town the next day. We had a great yet brief time. Next vaction will be a sunny beach somewhere.
